STEVIA EXTRACT & STEVIOL GLYCOSIDES

Stevia Extract and Steviol Glycosides

Sweetener IngredientUpdated October 15, 2026

Source bulk stevia extract or discuss glucosyl steviol glycosides (GSG). Compare grades, batch documents and samples for your food or beverage project.

Hengliyuan supplies a stevia extract range covering Reb A, Reb C, Reb D, Reb M, steviol glycosides and stevioside. Buyers can compare the glycoside profile that fits the target sweetness curve, application and market.

Hengliyuan is a distribution partner of Shandong Haigen Biotechnology for stevia ingredients. Ask us to confirm the current grade, availability and documents for your intended market before ordering.

These are high-intensity stevia ingredients, not the same product as an erythritol-stevia blend or a monk fruit-stevia blend. Confirm the selected product type, purity or glycoside profile, test method, documents and sample before placing an order.

Buying bulk stevia extract or enzyme-modified stevia?

Start by naming the ingredient you want to purchase. For a Reb A, Reb M or total-steviol-glycoside requirement, give the full grade and assay basis. If your enquiry says enzyme-modified stevia, clarify whether you mean glucosyl steviol glycosides (GSG) or a named glycoside made through enzymatic conversion. These are different purchasing identities; Reb M alone does not identify a production route. For a GSG enquiry, state GSG75, GSG80 or GSG90 if you have selected a grade, then request the current specification, batch composition, production statement and a matching sample. For a US project, also name the food or beverage and intended use so the documents can be reviewed for that exact preparation. A batch COA does not by itself establish US market suitability.

Choose a stevia grade

Compare the specification limits stated in the supplier reports below, not batch results or current stock. A dash means that no separate value is listed here. GSG content and total steviol glycosides are different assays; grade numbers do not rank sweetness or taste.

Shandong Haigen's September 2026 batch reports cover the grades below. They show results for the named batches, not a standing specification or current stock. Glucosyl steviol glycosides are a separate product type; confirm their suitability for your target market and application.

Does stevia leaf extract identify the production route?

Steviol glycosides occur in stevia leaves, but the name on a commercial ingredient does not establish how the offered grade was produced. Leaf extraction and purification, enzymatic conversion and fermentation are different routes. For a leaf-extracted or non-enzymatic requirement, request the selected grade's production statement and market documents; do not infer that route from Reb A, Reb M, RA98 or RM95 alone.

Name the steviol glycoside direction

If the project needs a particular glycoside profile, such as Reb A or Reb M, state it before comparing samples. A stevia label does not by itself identify the grade, carrier, concentration or sensory result.

Test sweetness and aftertaste in the real base

Record onset, peak, lingering sweetness, bitterness, aroma interaction and mouthfeel in the intended beverage or food. Water can be an early screen, but it should not replace the real-base comparison.

Keep a blend identity clear

An erythritol and stevia blend can support bulk and sweetness in a defined product, while a high-intensity stevia ingredient may serve a different role. Do not infer a complete formula or a 1:1 sugar replacement from the ingredient name.

What should match before a sample becomes a bulk order?

Keep the manufacturer, full grade code and agreed specification tied to the approved sample. For the offered lot, request the batch number, manufacturing and expiry dates, named-glycoside and total-content results, assay basis and methods, and the applicable contaminant and microbiological results. Confirm production-route and market documents separately from the COA. A sample's sensory approval does not qualify a different grade or prove every future batch has the same result. The quotation should identify the purchasing item, net pack weight and pack type, order quantity, delivery terms, quote validity and the documents supplied with the shipment. Confirm MOQ, current availability, sample charges, freight and lead time for that request rather than treating an old price sheet or report as today's offer. Agree how grade, route or specification changes will be communicated before repeat orders.

Is GSG90 the same purchasing item as SG90 or RA98?

No. Haigen's reports identify GSG90 as glucosyl steviol glycosides, SG90 as steviol glycosides and RA98 as a Reb A grade. The GSG90 batch 20260928 reports a dried-basis GSG assay of 90.21%, with Reb A and stevioside reported separately. Do not read that GSG result as 90.21% Reb A or compare it directly with a total-glycoside row from another grade. Request the complete composition and the method behind each assay. Confirm the intended ingredient identity, declaration and destination-market requirements before substituting one item for another.

Common questions

Is every stevia product the same?

No. Glycoside profile, purity, carrier, concentration, dosage, food matrix and process can change the result. Confirm the specification for the selected material. Tell us your ingredient requirements; we will review the matching formulation direction.

Discuss this request
Can stevia replace sugar by weight?

Not as a general claim. Stevia can provide sweetness at a low use level, while sugar may also provide bulk, solids, browning and texture. Tell us your sweetness comparison basis; we will propose a sample comparison for that target.

Discuss this request
Can stevia be blended with erythritol or monk fruit?

Those blend directions can be discussed, but the complete ingredient list and application result must be agreed through the project and sample evaluation. Tell us your ingredient requirements; we will review the matching formulation direction.

Discuss this request
What should I send before sampling?

Send the target market, product type, packaging specification, estimated quantity, required documents and sample need, plus the real base and the sensory question to resolve. Send us the details listed here; we will review the sample and quotation plan with you.
